Pre-trial detention of Ameeth, Saud and Waheed has been appealed. The elections commission has declared their seats vacant.
They were arrested for allegedly entering the parliament without permission after they lost their seats. Criminal Court has remanded three of them for 15 days.
Mohammed Waheed was arrested near Kunooz last Monday. Ameeth was arrested on Thursday night while Saud was arrested on Friday when he went to the police station to inquire why police announced a manhunt for him.
In addition to them, Elections Commission declared that MP Shinaan, MP Abdul Latheef, and MP Ilham has lost their seats.
