JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim’s hearing has been scheduled at 13:30 hours tomorrow.
In the last hearing, Qasim’s ill health did not permit the hearing to be continued and it was cancelled. Previously three judges presided over the case however now Judge Adam Areef is presiding over the case.
The judge said that the case will be resumed from where it ended before. Hence it is likely that they might reach a verdict anytime. Qasim is being charged over a speech he gave at M.Kunooz. The state has not submitted any other evidence in this case.
On that day Qasim called parliament members who crossed floors to other parties from JP, to return to JP and promised that he will help them to get re-elected.
Other politicians have talked similarly however so far no one else have been charged.
