Former Tourism Minister Dr.Mausoom have said that the call made by the Qasim Ibrahim to the former JP MP’s asking them to rejoin JP is well supported by the Supreme Court as well.
Dr.Mausoom said that the recent verdict , by the Supreme Court also states that those who cross floors in the parliament will lose their seats and hence it shows that the Supreme Court encourages parliament members to remain in the party they get elected from.
However, the PG has considered Qasim’s call a criminal offence and are investigating him for offering bribes. Qasim made that call because many JP members who joined PPM joined PPM against the vow they made in the name of Allah.
