Ooredoo has celebrated 12 year anniversary of the company in Maldives.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the head office of Ooredoo this afternoon the CEO of Ooredoo Najeeb Khan said that they started their services in Maldives on 1st August 2005 with an important vision and they have attained huge developments in the past 12 years. He said that they still have the same vision.
“Even if we look at the services for this nation, or the development of the company the last year was historical. In this regard compared to 2016, the second quarter of 2017 was very successful” said Najeeb Khan.
In the first 6 months of this year the customer base of Ooredoo increased by 8 percent and the total number of customers reached up to 400,000. In addition Ooredoo’s revenue increased to 921.4 million Rufiyaa from 801.9 million Rufiyaa.
“In the past 12 months, the most notable achievement was welcoming the shareholders of Ooredoo after conducting the most successful IPO in the history of Maldives” said Dheenaa Hussein the director of Ooredoo.
