Team of doctors from China who came to Maldives to conduct the eye camp has gone to the Gan Regional Hospital.
The eye camp is being conducted by Health Ministry and National Health and Family planning commission with the help of Chinese government. The camp will begin in early September.
The team of doctors who went to Gan will consult people in Gan and they did in Hulhumale’ as well.
According to health ministry, those who have to have cataract surgery will be given that opportunity during the eye camp. In 2015 also the Chinese government conducted an eye camp in Maldives. More than 200 people consulted and 107 cataract surgeries were done during that camp.
