High court refused to accept the appeal case regarding Qasim’s passport seizure: Lawyers
Qasim’a legal team have said that the high court has refused to accept the appeal case regarding Qasim’s passport confiscation.

Qasim’s legal team said that they appealed the Criminal Court order to withhold Qasim’s passport at the High Court but they refused to accept the case.

A statement by Qasim’s legal team states that according to the criminal procedure’s act, no court can order to withhold anyone’s passport without any other authority requesting to do. The statement also said that the High Court refuse to accept the appeal case.

In addition, the statement says that Qasim has been treating for lung and heart diseases and even IGMH has recommended Qasim to go abroad for further treatment. Furthermore, the statement says that if Qasim’s heart surgery is delayed his life might be in danger and that IGMH requested to do a procedure called E.P.A + R.F.P.A.

Qasim’s lawyers have expressed concern regarding this matter and requested the court to release his passport as soon as possible.
