Vice President of the Maldives Abdullah Jihaad have said that the role of citizens is huge in nation building.
Speaking at the 7th annual meeting of Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, the Vice President said that the general service tax paid by the people has a huge share in nation building. He said that the people will see the country getting developed from the money they pay as GST.
In addition he said that, from wherever we look huge developmental projects can be seen. He noted large scale land reclamation projects and airport development project. In addition he highlighted the development of Male-Hulhumale’ bridge.
The vice president said that the nation belongs to everyone.
