Doctors at Indhiraa Ghandhi Memorial Hospital has recommended JP leader Qasim Ibrahim to go abroad for a heart surgery.
A statement issued by his lawyers say that a cardiologist at IGMH recommended Qasim to go abroad for a heart surgery. It says that the doctor recommends Qasim to do EPA and RFP. The lawyers said that these two surgeries are not available in Maldives and if he is not able to do these surgeries it will endanger his life.
While IGMH has recommended Qasim to go abroad for a heart surgery, ADK has previously recommended him to go abroad for a cardiac scan.
However, since the “Judge” of Criminal Court has imposed a travel ban on him by seizing his passport, he is not able to leave the country.
