Education Minister Aishath Shiham have said that the training programs conducted by the government focuses on training people in fields where jobs are available.
Speaking at a ceremony held today to sign an agreement between Polytech and Fenaka Corporation to train 1500 electricians, the minister said that students from all over the Maldives can take part in these courses.
“These courses will be conducted using modern technology and will be available online. Even now many companies have agreed to provide on the field training. That is a huge success for the program” said the Minister.
The minister said that because of these programs no one in the society will be left behind. “This government has already trained 8500 people from different fields” said Dr.Shihaam.
