Ensis Fisheries have received ISO certificate.
Ensis is a company involved in trade of fish products. The ISO certificate was awarded to Ensis during the Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives Expo at Dharubaaruge today.
The certificate was handed over by Economic Minister Mohammed Saeed and the director of the company Abdul Wahid accepted the certificate on their behalf.
The ISO 14001:2015 received by Ensis is given to companies who are ready to protect the environment and who has regulations to protect the environment in their company guidelines.
According to Ensis, they got the certificate because they ensure that all their products are produced in a sustainable and an environmental friendly manner.
Ensis imports tuna to Europe and their market inside Maldives is growing as well.
