Criminal Court has issued an order to withhold MP Musthafa’s passport.
His passport was seized because he is being investigated for encouraging to topple the government and for inciting violence during a talk show on RajjeTV.
The order issued by the Criminal Court states that they issued the order because if Musthafa leaves the country, it will obstruct the investigation and the evidence for this order is the transcript of what Musthafa said during the talk show.
Mushatafa’s passport is being withheld for three months starting from yesterday and the evidence they referred in determining Musthafa was a flight risk was the investigator’s reports.
Last Monday the Police sent a summon order to Musthafa, which was later cancelled.
