Largest private hospital in the Maldives, ADK Hospital has opened a Cath lab.
According to the hospital they have completed the lab and are now conducting tests. They have a Siemens brand machine.
The managing director of ADK Ahmed Afaal said that this is a very different machine because it has two arms. “Angiography, ballooning, and stenting can be done from the machine. Also there is a neurology model with increased functions” said Afaal.
They plan to develop the hospital so that they can conduct by-pass surgery and in the new theatre complex a theatre for open heart surgery will be established.
ADK Hospital is among the most reputed hospitals in the Maldives.
