Tourism Minister and VP of ruling party PPM, Moosa Zameer have said that staffs of state owned companies can be seen from PPM gatherings because those staffs are members of PPM.
Speaking at a gathering held to open a PPM campaign center last night, the minister said that the government has created almost 90,000 jobs and many PPM members are in these jobs.
Moosa Zameer said that majority of the Maldivians are PPM members and if they cannot take part in these meetings, then they should invite foreigners to the meetings. He said that foreigners cannot vote in the elections.
Speaking at the gathering, Home Minister Azleen Ahmed said that some parliament members request him to do somethings which cannot be done legally and even if they ask, it cannot be done.
Economic Minister Mohammed Saeed said that the economy of Maldives is developing at a fast pace and the income of the youth is also increasing. He said that if the quality of life for the youths are increasing, they will not want to change the government.
The gathering was also attended by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim Manik.
