There should not be anytime where the parliament members cannot enter the parliament house : President Maumoon

Former President Maumoon have said that there should not be anytime where the parliament members cannot enter the parliament house.
Speaking at a gathering held last night by the opposition, Maumoon said that in some countries like UK, the parliament is known as “House of Commons” and it shows that the parliament is the house of the parliament members.

He said that however, now the state is prosecuting some parliament members for ‘illegally’ entering the parliament house.
Maumoon criticized the government for impromptu change in regulations. “They are changing the regulations of the football match when someone scores a goal by kicking the ball from the right leg. They change the regulations saying that a goal cannot be scored from the right leg and it should be kicked from the left leg. But when it is kicked from the left leg they change it saying that the ball should be kicked from both legs” said Maumoon.
