Education Ministry and UNICEF has signed an agreement regarding the education given to children and youth.
During a ceremony held at the ministry today Education Minister Dr.Aishath Shiham signed the agreement on behalf of the ministry while Dr.Elis the UNICEF representative to Maldives signed on behalf of UNICEF.
After signing United Nations Development Assistant Framework (UNDAF) plan, the minister said that this plan is a guideline is how the ministry and UNICEF will work together for the next two years.
Under this plan, high quality education and skills will be taught. In addition, work will be done on inclusive education and developing life skills of children.
