Education Minister Dr.Shihaam have said that as a result of UNDAF agreement, many goals in the government’s manifesto will be achieved.
She made this statement while speaking at a ceremony held to sign an MOU between Education Ministry and UNICEF. Education minister said that as a result of United Nation’s Development Assistant Framework, the services given in the health sector will improve. She said that especially the services given to youth and children will be improved.
In addition she said that, the quality of education will be improved and children and youth will be saved from all sorts of violence through preventive mechanisms. Furthermore, she said that the youth will be trained in the field and also they will get assistance to save the youth from drugs.
The minister said that all these things are included in the president’s manifesto even now and hence, as a result of this agreement it will be of great assistance to implement the manifesto.
