Islamic University of Maldives and University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has signed a historic agreement.
The agreement was signed today at 10:00 am during a ceremony held at UKM. Chancellor of IUM Dr.Shaheem Ali Saeed signed the agreement on their behalf while Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic and International Affairs Professor Dato Dr.Riza Atheeq Abdullah signed on behalf of UKM.
Under this agreement, the two universities will conduct student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, conduct research products, conduct short study programs, and conduct international conferences and symposiums.
Speaking at the conference, the chancellor of IUM Dr.Shaheem thanked the senior officials of UKM for giving the opportunity to sign such an agreement.
In addition Shaheem noted that this agreement will bring improvement to the quality of education of students of both the institutions.
