Sri Lankan company contracted with developing harbors of two islands
A Sri Lankan company has been contracted with developing the harbors of two islands.

Senok Trade Combain Private limited, was contracted with developing the quay wall of K.Kashidhoo and developing the harbor of L.Fonadhoo.

Senok company is already developing harbors in some other islands of Maldives. The contract was officially signed today during a ceremony held at the Housing Ministry.

While Housing Minister, Dr.Muizzu signed on behalf of the ministry, Mahesh Thenuvar the operations manager of Senok signed on behalf of the company.

Under this agreement, a 1200-meter quay wall will be constructed and lights will be installed. They get 338 days to complete the project and the cost of the project is 13.35 million Rufiyaa.

Meanwhile, a 166 meter seawall will be developed in Fonadhoo, with 21 meter of revetments. The cost of this project is 15 million rufiyaa and should be completed within 380 days.
