No one should be obstructed that much in attaining medical treatment even if there are disagreements : Yumna
Yumna Maumoon have said that no one should be obstructed that much in attaining medical treatment even if there are political disputes.

Yumna said that, no one should prevent anyone from the right to medical treatment and all the citizen have that right under the constitution. Yumna was talking with regard to Qasim Ibrahim who has not been allowed to leave the country for medical treatment even though three major hospitals including IGMH have stated that Qasim needs to under go a medical procedure which is not available in the Maldives.

Even though Qasim is at home now, his health is still in danger.

Qasim financially assisted thousands of Maldivians to attain health care, during a time when there was no state funded health care in the Maldives. Hence, a lot of Maldivians are worried and concerned about what Qasim Ibrahim is undergoing at the moment.
