Mohan Mutha Exports have been contracted with developing RO plants and storage tanks in three islands.
The storage tanks and RO plants will be developed in K.Gaafaru, B.Kendhoo and L.Gan. Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim signed the agreement on behalf of Environment Ministry. Mr.Vivek the engineer of Mohan Mutha Exports signed the agreement on their behalf.
The project is funded by Opec Fund for International Development and the state budget. The loan agreement of this project was signed on 3rd July 2015.
Under this project an RO plant and a 50 ton storage tank will be developed in B.Kendhoo and K.Gaafaru. This project was awarded to Mohan Mutha Export Private Limited for RF 15,466,702.55.
Once the project is completed, clean water will be available in all these islands. The project should be completed within 6 months starting from the day the agreement was signed.
