MP Mahloof of Galolhu South constituency and an activist of MDP has been arrested.
SO police officers arrested Mahloof while he was speaking to the press regarding the trial of Qasim Ibrahim that is being held at the Criminal Court in his absentia. He was arrested without any warning and without even telling why he was being arrested.
Mahloof was talking to the press among the protestors who were protesting when the Criminal Court decided to hold Qasim’s hearing tonight.
It is not clear why, the MDP activist was arrested.
