SG of JP, Ahmed Sameer have said that they have submitted all documents required to take JP leader Qasim Ibrahim abroad for treatment, but still it has not been arranged and that he is concerned about it.
Sameer said that he has notified all state authorities about the seriousness of Qasim’s serious health conditions. He said that a meeting of the medical board of Correctional Service was held tonight and there should be no reason for the delay.
“The Criminal Court’s verdict states that Qasim should be ensured with proper medical care” said Sameer.
He said that Qasim’s family has done what is required to take him abroad and now they are waiting for the permission from Correctional Service.
