A hearing related to the phone bill of Mohammed Aslam the Housing Minister of MDP administration, is to be held tomorrow.
The state is charging him to obtain more than 300,000 Rufiyaa from him which he used to pay for his phone bill. The audit reports notes this amount as gross mismanagement of financial resources.
The case is scheduled for 9:45 am tomorrow morning. The 2010 audit reports of Housing Ministry show that the state paid 312,928 Rufiyaa for Aslam’s phone bill. Documents related to the case has been submitted to Aslam on 13th July 2017.
According to the report the state paid Aslam’s phone bills from 2009 till August 2011.
