Secretory General of JP, Ahmed Sameer have said that they are concerned that the Commissioner of Prisons is delaying sending Qasim Ibrahim abroad for treatment.
Sameer said that Qasim Ibrahim is also a human and it is the responsibility of the state to facilitate him to get treatment. He said that he is very concerned because the state has not done anything yet even though the court has ordered the state to facilitate treatment for Qasim Ibrahim.
In addition he said that some people do not realize the seriousness of Qasim’s illness and that some people do not believe that for a human being the most important thing would be that person’s life.
Lot of people around the country are worried about Qasim’s health.
