Home Minister, Azleen Ahmed said that he visited Qasim Ibrahim at the hospital last night on behalf of the President and because the President wanted to check Qasim’s condition now.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Azleen said that it is very important that the President checked Qasim’s condition. He said that it shows that it is a top priority for the President to check on Qasim.
“We told Qasim Ibrahim that we are meeting him as the representatives of the President and because the president wants to check how Qasim is now” said Azleen.
Azleen said that Qasim thanked them for checking up on him and said that he was happy that the President was checking on him.
In addition, Azleen said that the arrangements are being made to send Qasim abroad for treatment and once the arrangements are done he will be able to leave the country for treatment.
Meanwhile, Qasim’s family has expressed concerns due to the delays in sending Qasim abroad for treatment. The family is trying to send Qasim abroad for treatment as soon as possible.
