Vice President of MDP Mohammed Shifaz have said that the Elections Commission is committing a crime and the members of the commission should be arrested.
Speaking at a gathering held last night at Kunooz by the opposition, Shifaaz said that the members of the commission has misinterpreted the Supreme Court verdict and are committing a crime by trying to conduct bi-elections in 4 constituencies. He said that the security forces should not stay idle while they commit such crimes and should arrest them.
Shifaaz said that from the verdict it is very clear that the four members did not lose their seats and hence all parties should fully respect the verdict of the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, in the gathering held by the ruling coalition, the Deputy Leader of PPM said that it is very clear that the seats are now vacant and vowed to win the elections.
