The Ambassador of India, H. E. Shri Akhilesh Mishra interacted with Maldivian student Ms. Ma’ani Fathulla Ismail who has been allotted MBBS scholarship by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to study at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
The meeting was held at the Indian Embassy on 29th August, 2017.
The Government of India is assisting Government of Maldives by training Maldivian nationals to enable them to occupy suitable positions in the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital(IGMH). The training in India covers Post-Graduate students, MBBS, Nursing and in few cases technical/administrative skills like Hospital management, Store Keeping and Laundry Management, through in-service training essentially.
