Maldives has severed all trade relations with Myanmar. A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry states that the Maldives ceased all trade relations with Myanmar until the government of Myanmar takes action against the atrocities committed against Muslims in Myanmar.
Maldives has also requested the Human Rights Council of UN and the Secretory General of UN to investigate the atrocities against Muslims in Myanmar.
Muslims in Myanmar are being oppressed in ways unimaginable. Investigations carried out by the UN has also proved this. However, UN has failed to take any action against Myanmar.
The army has been beheading children, burning people alive and burying people alive.
