Deputy Leader of JP, Abdullah Riyaz have said that it has been 2 weeks since the court verdict which ordered the state to send Qasim for abroad and the government has still not done it. Riyaz said that this shows that the government is oppressing Qasim on purpose and that he is very concerned about it.
Riyaz said that while Qasim was found guilty based on a case sent to the Police by the PG, the attorney general has appealed the court verdict regarding Qasim’s treatment at the High Court. Riyaz said that this is against all legal norms and this is also worrying.
Abdullah Riyaz said that this shows that this is proof that the government well planned all of this and that they want just one outcome from these actions. He said that since the government has not facilitated Qasim’s medical treatment, it shows that the government is acting in a certain way and the government must not do that.
