Dhiraagu, UNDP and Ministry of Economic Development is hosting a startup weekend. The purpose of this program is to familiarize the youth with innovation and new thinking.
According to Dhiraagu during the startup weekend, the youth will get the opportunities to test their ideas in the business world. In addition, they will be given information about networks and learn about it from experts. This will be the first startup weekend of this kind that is organized by international organizations in Maldives.
This weekend is sponsored by Google. They have introduced this program in 140 countries now.
The role of Dhiraagu is improve the capacity of the youth and help the youth to use their innovative ideas.
