Liveaboard Association of Maldives has stated that there are vessels in Maldives that are suitable for superstars and heads of states.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Maldives Marine Expo 2017, Ismail Abdul Hameed the president of LAM said that liveaboards were introduced in Maldives just a year after the first resort was opened and since that day this industry has been developing.
Ismail said that they want to develop the vessels in the tourism sector by helping them to overcome the challenges they face. Boat building companies and different companies active in the tourism sector are taking part in Marine Expo exhibition. Number of participants in the expo are increasing year by year.
The fare is being held at Dharubaaruge till Monday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
