Attorney General given an A3 size print of the constitution by lawyers !
Some lawyers have given an A3 size print of the constitution as a gift to the Attorney General Mohammed Anil.
He was also given a petition signed by the 56 lawyers with the constitution. Speaking to the press lawyer Mahfooz Saeed said that they gifted a large print of the constitution to show that no one can be bigger than the constitution.
The lawyers submitted the same petition to the Supreme Court as well, however the Supreme Court did not accept the petition.
“The secretory of the Attorney General’s Office has accepted the constitution and the petition. We hope that they take serious action after considering out petition” said Mahfooz Saeed.
Fund raising activities were also held in B.Kamadhoo.
