Former cabinet minister Abdullah Kamaaluhdheen have said that no matter how displeased you are problems can only be resolved by talking with relevant people.
Speaking at a gathering held at Kunooz by the opposition last night, Abdullah Kamaaluhdheen said that some people say that they will not talk with Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad to solve the Syrian crisis. He said that however, the Syrian problem cannot be solved without talking to the Syrian president.
Abdullah Kamaaluhdheen said that if the problems in Maldives are to be solved the, discussions need to be held with former President Nasheed, Sheikh Imran and Qasim Ibrahim. He said that these people have support of many people and hence they carry a lot of weight regarding national interest.
He said that for Maldives at the moment, working towards national interest is very important and it is time for some people to work in the best interest of the nation.
