MTCC has started fund raising activities for Rohingya Muslims. They have placed fund boxes in various places and also the staff of the company decided to donate one day’s worth of salary to the fund.
In addition the management of the company has decided to donate a value that will match the amount donated by the staffs. Fund boxes will be kept in all ferry terminals operated by MTCC in Male’ till 23rd of this month.
Staffs of the company and the general public are welcome to donate to the fund. According to officials the fund-raising activity is well received among the staffs of the company. It should be noted that MTCC is often very active in social responsibility programs.
