AP leader who is serving a 12 year jail sentence for terrorism has been changed to house arrest yesterday.
According to sources, Imran was changed to house arrest after his wife gave birth to a boy. Imran was changed to house arrest in last Ramadan as well. However he was taken back to jail once Ramadan was over.
Imran was sentenced to jail on February 2016. Imran was jailed because the state found him responsible for the violent riot during the May Day protest held in May 2015. Imran was among the key organizers of the protest.
