Table Tennis player Rafa Nazim has won this year’s Colors Award.
Colors Award is an award given by Education Ministry to high achievers in sports. Rafa Nazim who won this year’s Colors Award is a student of Iskandar School. The other students who competed with Rafa for this award are athlete Nasha Nizar, swimmer Mohammed Nazran and TT player Laisa Fathuhullah.
Rafa played an important role in winning the silver medals in three categories in South Asian Youth Championship which was held last year. In addition, she played against Mueena Mohammed one of the best TT players in the Maldives in the national championship and won it.
Rafa also completed a 40-day training program at Meji University’s training center. The university gave this opportunity to her after they observed her playing.
