Housing Minister Dr.Mohammed Muizzu have said that flats will be awarded to 36 new recipients based on the final list of recipients announced yesterday.
Speaking at a press conference held today at Housing Ministry, the minister said that in the preliminary list 19 couples got the flats and hence the 19 couples were removed from the list and flats were awarded to new 19 people based on the points.
He said that in addition, they also awarded 16 flats to families with disabled member(s). Even in the final list, names of people who received the flats has not been revealed. The minister said that total 661 people will get the flats.
The minister also said that they answered all complaints raised regarding the preliminary list.
