Education Minister Dr.Aishath Shihaam have said that in the past four years Maldives have made significant achievements in sports.
Speaking at the Colors Award ceremony held last night, the minister said that athletes who represent Maldives in international sporting competitions are making all Maldivians happy. The minister also noted that many of the athletes of Maldives are school students.
“I am sure that many students who won award at this ceremony are students who has won at an international level or students who are trying to do so. In addition, many students have won in various national and inter-school level competitions. The result of your work will be very sweet. Today we see tomorrow’s heroes here” said the Education Minister.
