Hisaan Hussein, a member of JP leader Qasim Ibrahim’s legal team have stated that the state did not want to reach a peaceful solution through dialogue regarding Qasim Ibrahim’s treatment.
She made this statement while speaking at a press conference held today at M.Kunooz. She said that the state has said that they do not want to reach to a solution through dialogue in the case Qasim filed in the Civil Court requesting the court to order the state to allow Qasim to continue his treatment in Singapore.
“The normal procedure in Civil Court is that, at first they will try to resolve the dispute through dialogue without taking it to trial. A lawyer from the AG said that that they do not want to reach to a solution through this procedure” said Hisaan.
In addition, she said that since she believes that this was done with the instruction of the Attorney General.
