Health Minister Abdullah Nazim have said that once Tree Top Hospital is opened, treatments which are not yet available from Maldives will be available from the hospital.
Speaking to the press after checking the progress of the hospital, he said that once the hospital is opened Maldivians will stop going abroad for treatment. In addition he said that the ques at IGMH will me decreased.
“Cancer treatment and dialysis can be done from this hospital. All heart cardiac treatments except heart transplant can be done here. This hospital has the latest technology for CT scans. Catering services is also available at the hospital. They have the latest technology to serve inpatients and outpatients” said the minister.
He said that doctors from 30 countries will work at the hospital and the health sector will be revolutionized with this hospital.
