Ambassador designate to Sri Lanka from Maldives, Mohammed Hussein Shareef (Mundhu) is in Sri Lanka to submit his credentials.
However, he has not revealed when exactly he will submit the credentials to President of Sri Lanka Maithiripala Sirisena.
President Yameen appointed Mundhu to the position on 6th September.
In the past three years, the ambassador to Sri Lanka from Maldives was Zaahiya Zareer.
