Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim have said that the government pays 10 million Rufiyaa to Fenaka every month for their services.
Speaking at the meeting of government oversight committee of the parliament, the minister said that the government pays this money to Fenaka to minimize the losses of the company. He said that the company incurs a lot of loss.
Speaking at the committee, Ahmed Shareef the MD of Fenaka said that the money given by the government is used for fuel supply and to repay the debt of the company. He said that the money is not used as recurrent expenditure.
