Criminal Court has ordered to hold MP Mahloof passport. Mahloof is in Sri Lanka at the moment for medical treatment.
Mahloof said that the court delivered the order to his house yesterday saying that they suspect he is trying to flee the country.
“I will not flee. Reform works can be done by being in Maldives” said Mahloof.
Mahloof’s passport was previously withheld after the police started an investigation on Mahloof for obstructing law enforcement officers to carry out their duty.
Meanwhile, Police sent summon orders to MP Ali Azim and MP Hussein Areef, ordering them to be at the police station tomorrow.
