CEO of Maldives Islamic Bank, Haaris Haroon have said that the age of providing bank services from a physical location is now gone and today services like mobile money are more popular.
Speaking at the ceremony held to launch Dhiraagu Pay, today at Hotel Jen, Haaroon said that banking services will expand with Dhiraagu Pay. He said that MIB will ensure that the deposits of the customers are safe.
Even those who do not use smart phones can use Dhiraagu Pay service using NFC stickers and this service alone can contribute to making Maldives a cashless country.
