Maldives Post Limited has opened a pick post station. The station was inaugurated by Home Minister Azleen Ahmed during a ceremony held at Velaana Building.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Home Minister said that this is an important service introduced by Maldives Post to compete internationally. He said that the public will benefit immensely from this service.
Minister noted that many Maldivians are involved in buying products online. “ If we do not have a share in international e-commerce it will not be easy to develop the economy of Maldives” said the Minister.
Speaking at the ceremony, the MD of Post Limited Ahmed Shafeeq Mohammed said that this service was introduced to further modernize the posted delivery service of Maldives.
In addition, he said that they are trying to introduce the service to other parts of Maldives as well.
