MP for Dhiggaru constituency Faaris Maumoon was taken to Male’ to consult an ENT doctor and a dermatologist.
He has now been taken to jail after the consultations. According his family, they were unaware that Faaris had any medical problems and he was taken to family without informing the family.
Family of Faris visited him at the hospital.
He was arrested last July and the state is charging him for offering bribes. The Criminal Court has ordered to keep him in detention until the trial is over.
