Former cabinet minister Abdullah Kamaaluhdheen (AK) have said that the people has smashed all the large walls that were built in Male’ so far.
He said that no matter how high the wall is, no wall can control the people and people can be controlled when the affairs of the state are carried out in accordance with the law. “ This is not the age where people are controlled by building large walls. That couldn’t be done even when the people were not this aware” said Kamaaluhdheen.
He said that the people are really aware about the constitution and that they are not demanding for anything that is not in the constitution. He also said that, even though he read the Supreme Court verdict on the dismissal of parliament members, it is still not clear to him. “That is now how it should be. The people should be aware of what the verdict say” said Kamaaluhdheen.
He said that if the verdicts are not clear then the people will be concerned and that is how it is going to be.
