Foreign Minister of Maldives Dr.Mohammed Asim have said that the government of Maldives is doing a lot of work to create a society where human rights are respected.
Foreign Minister said that Maldives expects other societies around the world to respect and uphold human rights as well.
In addition, he said that the government of Maldives has successfully created support mechanisms for people with disabilities and also created an environment where elderly people can live with dignity.
Dr.Asim also noted that Maldives has achieved a lot in terms of education and also said that the health sector is developing at a fast pace and that everyone has equal access to health facilities.
