First National Food Police have been launched.
The policy was officially launched by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim during a ceremony held today at the ministry.
The purpose of the policy is to ensure that imported and locally produced food materials are healthy.
The ceremony was attended by WHO representative to Maldives Dr.Aruvin Maathoor as well.
