Deputy Leader of PPM, Abduh Raheem Abdullah (Adhurey) have said that if the opposition assumes office Maldivians will have to cry.
Speaking at the ceremony held last night to open the PPM campaign center in Colombo, Sri Lanka, he said that there is no doubt that if the opposition assumes office they will destroy the Islamic identity of Maldives. He said that this is something that Maldivians should cry about.
He said that the Maldivians in Sri Lanka should work hard to re-elect President Yameen. He said that Maldivians want development and stability.
“President Yameen’s government will not do anything unlawful. Politicians got punished legally. Opposition is aware that they cannot win any votes if they speak the truth because of the development President Yameen has brought within the last 4 years” said Adhurey.
In addition he said that it is a religious duty on Maldivians to re-elect President Yameen.
If the opposition assumes office, Maldivians will have to cry : Adhurey !
